Pakistani Prime Minister: Iran will respond regarding the prospects of US-Iran talks
ME News Report, April 29 (UTC+8), Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz stated that Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian promised him that Iran will respond to the prospects of Iran-U.S. talks after leadership consultations. Shehbaz said during a cabinet meeting that Abdollahian led a delegation to Pakistan last week and held multiple rounds of comprehensive talks with Pakistani officials. “Before leaving, he (Abdollahian) assured me that he would respond after consulting with Iran’s leadership.” Shehbaz also stated that the ceasefire reached through efforts by the Pakistani side between Iran and the U.S. remains in effect.
