I just saw something interesting in on-chain analysis. A whale moved a significant amount of money recently: opened a long position of 20,000 ETH on March 9 at $2,003 and closed it two days later at $2,045. Nothing spectacular, but they made $850,000 from the move.
What catches the eye is what they currently hold in their wallet. This whale is holding 600 BTC (quite a bit of weight) plus 10,158 ETH that they bought on March 10. Basically, it seems that after closing that long position, they decided to keep a substantial stash of crypto in spot.
It's always useful to see what big whales are doing in price movements. In this case, it looks like the whale took advantage of a short move but is also accumulating for the long term.
