Yesterday I paid my tuition again... I was planning to ride a small rebound, but when I saw that big order on the chain just finished sweeping, I got itchy and chased in, and the slippage immediately woke me up: the displayed price looked pretty good, but the actual transaction was a mess, and the depth was as thin as paper. Basically, I was too hasty with my order, trying to "hit the target in one step," but that kind of pool requires splitting orders, waiting, or just not touching it at all.

What's more embarrassing is that at the time, social media was still buzzing about a certain celebrity shouting another meme, and I was saying "attention shifts, don’t catch the last wave," while I had already clicked confirm... I understand the advice from seasoned players to newcomers, but when it’s your turn, it’s easy to get carried away.

Looking back, there’s only one lesson: if you don’t understand, don’t move. Last night, I really didn’t understand who was pushing that surge, I just didn’t want to miss out. Let’s leave it at that for now, and tomorrow I’ll keep an eye on the liquidity on-chain.
