To be honest, I have a bit of PTSD about stablecoins now.
It’s not the fear of depegging itself, but the fear of that “looks fine” feeling. No matter how polished the reserve report is, when a run actually happens, you won’t have time to read it. Put simply, whether people run has little to do with the data and a lot to do with whether “the people next to them” are running.
The recent Meme wave was the same: veteran players were all warning people not to be the last one holding the bag, but no one was saying anything about stablecoins—maybe they think the word “peg” itself is a safety cushion.

Lately I’ve been looking into the IBC protocol and noticed that when many people talk about cross-chain transactions, they only mention “trustlessness.” But when you break it down, the chain of trust is actually quite long. Light-client verification, relayers, even the frontend of the wallet you use… if anything goes wrong at any link, “code is law” may not be enough to cover it.
Put simply, the compliance controversies surrounding privacy coins are the same way—everyone wants permissionlessness, yet they still have to trust that certain nodes, bridges, and service providers won’t sabotage thi
Good morning 🥂 I see Gate is running a Square campaign for the Mid-Autumn Festival—this traffic play is spot-on.
$668 million went up in smoke, and the bears were wiped out in one wave. With leverage, you have to survive before you can talk about returns.

🚨 LEVERAGE JUST GOT PUNISHED
Hundreds of millions of dollars in crypto positions were liquidated in just 24 hours as the market made a sharp move.
Recent reports put total liquidations around $668M–$674M, with a large portion coming from bearish Ether positions
This is exactly why leverage can be dangerous.
The market doesn't need to reach your target.
It only needs to move against you long enough to take your position away.
My approach?
Smaller leverage.
Clear invalidation.
No emotional revenge trades.
Survive the volatility first.
Profit comes second.

$OG ’s price action looks painful, MACD is deep green, so I’m bailing for now.

$OG (OG) – Sharp Decline, Out
I'm staying far away from OG because it is down -21.90% at $0.1897, dropping sharply from a high of $0.2006. The price has fallen below the Middle Band (MB: $0.1867) and is testing the Lower Band (LB: $0.1834). The 24h low is $0.1832, and MACD is deeply negative. I'm not touching this. For now, I'm completely out.

Also recently, everyone suddenly started talking about taxes. Honestly, my first reaction was: good thing I’ve been keeping an eye on things and recording on-chain. To be real, I didn’t use any advanced tools. Every time I finished a transaction, I’d just take a screenshot, and in the transfer memo I’d write what it was for and make it clear where it came from and where it went. I used to think it was a hassle, but when it really came time to整理 at year-end, I understood that those half an hour hadn’t been wasted.
That said, I’m not always this organized. There was a pit that left a deep impres
Recently I’ve been looking into restaking and shared security, and it feels like everyone is talking about “stacking yields.” Honestly, I’m pretty curious about the narrative itself, but every time I see a bunch of people rushing in, I can’t help thinking: is the illusion being stacked too? Anyway, with the airdrop season and point systems in place, a lot of people seem to be grinding like it’s a job. I’m not saying whether the sybils were cleaned up or not, but people do look exhausted.
Forget the fancy talk. Just don’t forget the risks for the sake of small returns. That’s it for now. I’m st
This metal mining rally is pretty fierce—NioCorp rose more than 10% in a single day. Are resource stocks starting to tell stories?

Powell’s comments this round are tough enough—if inflation doesn’t cool down, the Fed won’t hold back, and risk assets need to buckle their seatbelts.

You say that now Layer2 is always comparing whose TPS is higher and whose Gas is lower, and I just find it exhausting to watch... But honestly, the real problem is still the same old one: when exactly will your transaction get executed, and who gets to decide?
As for MEV, I used to think it was just scientists running ahead for arbitrage, with nothing to do with ordinary people. Then I sent a few urgent orders myself and finally got it—same Gas, some people can squeeze their way to the front, while others can only sit there and wait. Plainly put, the power to order is an invisible hand, and it

The CLARITY Act has finally been advanced. The idea that non-custodial developers shouldn't be held responsible for third parties, if implemented, would be a great benefit to the entire open-source crypto ecosystem.
