Donald Trump claimed that Iran is experiencing a “financial collapse” and is losing $500 million per day due to the Strait of Hormuz blockade. Trump said that Iran is in urgent need of money and asked the U.S. to open the Strait of Hormuz immediately. He also indicated that Iran is in an emergency and is trying to find a solution to internal leadership problems ¹ ² ³.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Iran is collapsing financially! They want the Strait of Hormuz opened immediately—they desperately need money!” Trump also added that if the U.S. opens the Strait of Hormuz, there will be no agreement with Iran. #GateSquareMayTradingShare
