I just saw the news that the Ethereum Foundation is using staking technology from Bitwise to manage their reserve funds, which I find quite interesting. Basically, Bitwise Onchain Solutions is developing and maintaining the software for this plan, initially they deposited 2.016 ETH and the final plan is to stake around 70,000 ETH.
The cool part is that they are using professional open-source tools like Dirk and Vouch to do this. With ETH's current price around $2.33k, 70,000 ETH is equivalent to over $160 million, which is a significant amount of money. Bitwise Asset Management choosing to do this also shows they are strengthening their position in the staking infrastructure space.
By the way, this partnership between the Ethereum Foundation and Bitwise indicates a trend where major organizations are professionalizing staking management. Not sure if other projects will follow suit, but it seems like staking is becoming an important part of the financial strategies of large funds.
