Interesting to see the founder of Cardano reignite the debate on the fundamental principles of cryptocurrencies. Charles Hoskinson asks questions that really deserve our attention: do we truly want to maintain control over our identity, or do we just accept that others decide for us? That’s the foundation of everything, isn’t it?
He also raises a crucial point about decentralization – important discussions are ones we need to have ourselves, not someone else on our behalf. And then there’s the question of adoption: can billions of people really use cryptocurrencies securely? That’s not a trivial issue.
What strikes me is that he brings everything back to Satoshi’s principles. Like, do cryptocurrencies as they exist today truly respect the original vision? That’s the question the creator of ADA is asking, and honestly, it’s worth serious reflection within the community. Fundamentals are important, especially when it comes to mass adoption.
