Cara, what happened with DeFi in the last few days was truly historic. It's no exaggeration.

Think about it: more than 73,000 ETH mobilized in a coordinated and voluntary manner. Completely voluntary. Protocols that had absolutely no legal obligation joined forces to do something that most traditional institutions would take months to organize.

Arbitrum froze the stolen funds and returned them. Mantle put 30,000 ETH on the table as a loan. Stani issued a personal check of 5,000 ETH from his own pocket. Then comes Lido approving a governance proposal, Golem, Ink, LayerZero, Ethena, KelpDAO all stepping in. And Aave orchestrating all of this.

These are nine-figure decisions coming from protocols that could have simply ignored the problem. But they didn't ignore it.

And do you know what else impresses me? Those who keep repeating that crypto is uncontrollable, that DeFi is total chaos, just saw the exact opposite happening in real time. The community self-organized and created a recovery fund faster than most TradFi companies can schedule a simple board meeting.

This is responsibility. This is real governance. This is what DeFi can do when it acts as an ecosystem.

Save this list of names. This is the answer to those who say crypto has no social responsibility. Take a screenshot of this.
