I took a look at the liquidation map and something interesting is showing up in BTC. In the 76,000 zone, short positions are heavily concentrated, which directly reflects the increased activity on the short side over the past week. However, at the same time, the net long/short indicator is still green—meaning the long side continues to have capital dominance. In short, even though there is selling pressure, the market still has a structure geared toward growth.
On the ETH side, the liquidation map looks a bit cleaner. Long positions clearly outweigh, indicating a strong capital imbalance on the long side. Looking at price movements, the 2019 to 2041 range stands out as potential reaction areas. Cascade liquidations could be triggered at these levels, and volatility may increase.
It will be interesting to see what happens if the 76,000 level breaks this week in BTC. Or will there be a massive squeeze? What do you think?
