When I look at a project now, whether they're serious about their work, I don't look at the roadmap at first. I start by checking the treasury expenditures. Where did the money go, who received it, and after receiving, did they submit their work (milestones, deliverables, verifiable ones)? It's hard to hide that. I'm most afraid of those vague words like "community building/ecosystem incentives" being used to fudge through; at the end of the month, when settling accounts, everyone becomes a consultant. Honestly, spending money should be like... and also like...: like an expense report and like a punch card, able to match the work with the person.

Recently, during the airdrop season, task platforms have become more strict about anti-witchcraft measures. The point system has turned the grifters into workaholics, just like working a job. I actually trust the "funding by milestones" approach more: do the work first, then get the next payment. Otherwise, the treasury just becomes a large emotional spending spree. I also don't like taking sides or arguing over votes; I focus on the delivery list—who delays, who gets their budget increased. It’s clear at a glance.
