Blocking the sea route, then we open the land route

According to Iranian media, Pakistan has opened 6 land routes leading into Iran, helping thousands of containers resume traffic after the Strait of Hormuz was blocked.

However, over 90% of Iran's import and export goods go through the sea, with almost all food supplies passing through Hormuz. These 6 land routes only make Iran a bit more comfortable and cannot replace the sea route.

Although Pakistan is playing a mediating role in US-Iran reconciliation, this news may displease Washington, especially when Finance Minister Bessent warned: anyone supporting the flow of funds to Iran will be subject to US sanctions.
