Most VPNs will exit the Chinese market in May.

It is clear that this crackdown on circumventing the Great Firewall is serious.
Backup options after VPN restrictions:
1. Set up your own nodes
Suitable for personal temporary use, highly flexible, and relatively low cost. But the risks are uncertain stability, IPs are easily identified and blocked, not suitable for long-term team reliance, and not recommended for resale, sharing, or commercial use.
2. Purchase overseas data SIM cards / eSIM / international roaming
Suitable for business trips, live streaming, temporary office work, and emergency login to overseas platforms.
The advantage is that it does not depend on local broadband environments, and may serve as a backup link during restrictions. The downside is high data costs, unstable latency, and some cards may limit speed, hotspot, or regional usage.
3. Enterprise compliant cross-border dedicated lines / SD-WAN / IEPL
Suitable for company teams, foreign trade, cross-border e-commerce, live streaming teams, and overseas SaaS with high frequency use. This is the most stable solution, suitable for long-term office work. The cost is higher, but it is more controllable than frequently changing nodes, disconnections, or account risk management. Internal enterprise office scenarios should prioritize this type.
