The difference between emotional stability and emotional suppression is not about whether you have emotions, but whether emotions can flow freely. Suppression involves long-term accumulation of emotions and needs, appearing calm on the surface but prone to sudden outbursts at certain moments, with large swings in mood; whereas stability means emotions can be recognized, expressed, and processed in a timely manner, with fluctuations but not extreme. Unexpressed emotions do not disappear; they only manifest in different ways. Therefore, rather than suppressing them, it's better to let emotions flow naturally.
