CryptoWorld News reports that the DeFi United Alliance has released a technical proposal aimed at helping AAVE users address a $300 million token vulnerability. The proposal details a step-by-step plan to restore support for RSETH. Previously, the Kelp DAO hacker incident caused more than 116,000 tokens to be not properly accounted for. The proposal notes that most of the exploited funds are still in use, with approximately 107,000 RSETH remaining in active positions on AAVE and Compound. The plan is to restore sufficient backing for RSETH again by redeploying and re-mortgaging ETH into the system in phases, while orderly clearing the loans opened by the hackers. The process depends on governance approvals across multiple chains and the successful deployment of funds. If executed smoothly, the goal is to restore RSETH support and stabilize all affected markets.
