๐บ๐ธ CFTC Uses AI to Monitor the Crypto Market
Chairman Mike Selig said that the agency is deploying AI and automation tools to oversee the crypto market, prediction markets, and traditional commodities derivatives. Currently, the CFTC is using Microsoft Copilot as its main AI tool.
During President Trumpโs administration, about 25% of CFTC staff resigned due to federal workforce cuts. AI has been introduced to compensate as the CFTC takes on additional roles in supervising crypto and prediction markets.
