Been diving for a long time but still want to say: don’t get caught up right away in debating "hardware wallet vs multi-signature vs social recovery" as the most advanced. Honestly, it depends on your current asset size and whether you can maintain "boring operations" long-term. For small amounts, I think a hardware wallet is enough; the key is not to be lazy with backups. Once your assets grow a bit and you’re worried about slipping up and signing wrong or your computer getting infected, multi-signature can really help keep emotions in check, though it’s a bit more troublesome but worth it. Social recovery sounds great, but you have to truly trust those “contacts,” or it could end up as a social disaster… These days, the main chain is upgrading/maintaining, and the group is guessing whether projects will migrate or not. I’m actually more anxious: I don’t know what will happen to the chain, but first, keep your keys safe. Don’t get caught losing them in the chaos before or after an upgrade.
