Techub News reports, according to watcher.guru, after researching post-quantum migration plans, the Solana development teams Anza and Firedancer confirmed the need to adopt the post-quantum digital signature scheme Falcon. The network currently does not need to change immediately, but an emergency plan has been established that can be activated at any time to address quantum computing threats.
The ecosystem previously achieved quantum resilience through Blueshift's Winternitz Vault, which has been running for over two years and is cited as a post-quantum work example in Google's white paper. Currently, public chains like Ethereum and XRP are also researching post-quantum security features to prepare for the era of quantum computing.
