Just now, my phone popped a red dot again. I thought someone had messaged me, but it turned out to be the health of my lending position dropping… my heart tightened instantly. Being still three steps away from the liquidation line, but honestly, my current habit is to stop adding position first, then pull up the ledger and double-check: is this borrowed short-term or held long-term? Don’t lie to yourself.

Then it gets very real: either top up some collateral, repay a portion, or cut the position that’s dragging the most. To put it plainly, I’d rather acknowledge a small loss early than have the system cut me off in one go and make me pay a bunch of fees. Recently, new L1/L2s have been pulling in incentives and TVL, and old users in the group complain about “mining-sell,” but I’m even more cautious—when things like this happen, volatility jumps, and the liquidation line feels like it suddenly shifts right onto your face.

Anyway, now that I can see I’m getting close to the red line, the first thing I do is turn notifications to always-on. The second thing is to treat “being able to sleep” as the standard: if I can’t sleep, I reduce. That’s it for now.
