By the end of April 2026, the cryptocurrency ecosystem shows a very dynamic face. After passing through a significant weakening phase at the beginning of the year (January and February), the digital asset market begins to show signs of a strong revival, although still overshadowed by volatility that is its hallmark.

Bitcoin: Approaching All-Time Highs
Bitcoin (BTC) is currently the main focus. As of April 28, 2026, Bitcoin's price is around Rp1.32 billion per coin. Although it struggled to break through the psychological level of $80,000, Bitcoin's monthly performance in April recorded an increase of more than 13%. Analysts predict that if this momentum continues, April 2026 could be one of the strongest months for Bitcoin in the last five years, driven by inflows from spot ETFs and increasing institutional adoption.
Ethereum and Altcoins: Utility Becomes Key
Unlike Bitcoin, which is moving rapidly, Ethereum (ETH) experienced a slight correction of about 3.8% in the last 24 hours, trading at $2,289 (around Rp39.5 million). However, the market focus in 2026 is beginning to shift. No longer just speculation, investors are now more interested in assets with real utility such as:
Solana (SOL): Praised for transaction speed and low fees.
Bittensor (TAO): Leading the narrative of integration between artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain.
Stablecoins: Becoming a focus of global regulation, especially related to anti-money laundering rules in the United States.
Challenges and Market Sentiment
Although there is optimism, the market remains in a sensitive phase. Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and monetary policy from central banks (The Fed and ECB) are still external factors triggering uncertainty. Additionally, the phenomenon of "Fear of Missing Out" (FOMO) often clashes with profit-taking actions (profit taking), which can trigger sudden corrections.
