The third time being fed price data by the oracle reminds you: you think you're racing against the market, but you're actually racing against "latency." Slow price feeds mean the on-chain prices are still stuck in the past, and liquidation bots don’t show mercy—they follow the rules—and will liquidate when it’s time. Especially when high leverage is involved, even if the market has already recovered, your position still takes a hit at the old price, which is quite frustrating.

Recently, cross-chain bridges have been hacked again, and everyone is shouting "wait for confirmation." I can understand that; basically, it’s just fear that the data source or route might malfunction someday. Anyway, I’m more relaxed now: keep smaller positions, leave more margin, and avoid messing around on chains with oracle anomalies. Better to save a bit on gas and pay a little more in "tuition" later.
