Buying Again 101,901 ETH, BitMine Officially Controls 5 Million ETH Tokens
BitMine has increased its Ethereum holdings by 101,901 ETH over the past week. Announced in an official release, this addition brings the total ETH assets controlled by BitMine to 5,078,386 tokens as of April 26, 2026. This amount is equivalent to 4.21% of the total circulating ETH supply, which is 120.7 million tokens.
In its official report, BitMine also confirmed the purchase of 10,000 ETH from the Ethereum Foundation through OTC transactions. The transaction was conducted at an average price of $2,387 per ETH. The Ethereum Foundation stated that funds from this sale will be used for operational costs, protocol research, and ecosystem funding.
Currently, BitMine has staked 3,701,589 ETH, or about 73% of its total holdings. With an annual yield rate of 3.033%, the company projects staking income to reach $264 million per year. BitMine's total assets are currently valued at $13.3 billion, including crypto assets, cash of $940 million, and strategic investments in Beast Industries and Aethir Holdings.
