ME News Report, April 8 (UTC+8), Trump announced agreement to suspend bombing and attacks on Iran within two weeks. The Iranian Supreme National Security Council issued a statement stating that, based on the advice of the Supreme Leader and approval from the Supreme National Security Council, they accept Pakistan’s ceasefire proposal. Iran said that US-Iran negotiations will begin on the 10th in Islamabad.

Due to the easing of tensions in the Middle East, Nasdaq futures rose by up to 2%; WTI crude oil plummeted 15%, breaking below the $100 mark; spot gold rose over 3.2%, currently at $4,811 per ounce. Bitcoin rebounded past $72k, currently at $72,460, with a 24-hour increase of 5.52%. CoinGlass data shows that in the past 12 hours, on-chain oil liquidations reached $347.5 million, and on-chain Brent crude oil liquidations reached $310.2 million, both mainly long liquidations.
