These days, my trading hand is starting to itch again. As soon as a big bullish candle appears, I want to chase it. To be honest, many times it's not "I know something," but "I'm afraid of missing out." I set a rule for myself: every time I want to add to my position, I first pause for 30 seconds and write a sentence—am I adding information or emotion right now? If I can't come up with anything, I consider there’s no reason, close the order page, and go drink some water. Recently, we've been talking a lot about interest rate cut expectations, the US dollar index moving up and down together with risk assets. The more macro narratives like this emerge, the easier it is to mistake "feelings" for "logic." Anyway, I’d rather earn a little less than rely on trembling hands to gamble with luck.
