I am increasingly feeling that grid/DCA strategies may not necessarily be more profitable, but they are really more suitable for people who can sleep well. Essentially, it’s just throwing your emotions into the mix as well; pretending nothing’s wrong during the day, then staring at your phone at night refreshing, and feeling exhausted the next day like clocking in at work... I can't do it.

My obsessive-compulsive tendencies make me like to split my positions into many small slots, like recording mileage: add one slot today, add another tomorrow, and once I set the conditional orders, I don’t want to touch them much. If I really talk about “practice,” I’m not trying to beat the market, but to beat my own itchiness.
Recently, modularization and the DA layer are heating up again, developers are excitedly hyped, while I (the user) am completely confused: understanding the narrative doesn’t mean I should just throw everything in, anyway I’ll follow the plan first, sleep is a priority.
