I just noticed an interesting discrepancy in the data on CoinMarketCap - community sentiment towards Cardano and Midnight are moving in completely opposite directions. According to the latest CoinMarketCap indicators, Cardano ranks 9th in positive sentiment with 50% bullish votes, while Midnight is in 5th place for negative sentiment. It's surprising, but these two tokens are often considered partners within the same ecosystem.
Even more interesting - despite such contrasting sentiments, both tokens have shown a decline over the past 24 hours. ADA has fallen by 2.25% to $0.25, and NIGHT has dropped by 2.45% to $0.03. It turns out that positive sentiment on CoinMarketCap does not always correlate with price movement. This supports the theory that community sentiment is far from the only factor influencing the price.
It's fascinating to observe how one token receives strong support while its partner does not. Developers constantly emphasize that they complement each other, not compete. We will have to wait and see if this sentiment on CoinMarketCap changes in the near future.
