How much do retail investors really need to understand about blockchain builders and bundling? To put it simply, you don't need to memorize PBS and auction mechanisms inside out; you just need to remember one thing: the "public orders" you post on the public chain might be bundled by others into a sequence that makes them more profit. This can cause inexplicable slippage and worse trading results.
Right now, I think there are only two pieces of knowledge that are sufficient: first, knowing that "private order submission" (like through RPC/relay) can reduce the chance of being front-run; second, don't blindly trust your speed—chasing hot topics more often results in paying more gas for others. Recently, as everyone discusses rate cut expectations, the dollar index, and risk assets acting up together, the on-chain environment feels more like a vegetable market... My biggest fear isn't losing money, but losing it in a confusing way and thinking it's just my poor judgment. Anyway, if I can use private orders, I will; don't be too greedy with parameters—survive first.
