Iranian Foreign Ministry: U.S. "Keep changing positions" preventing both sides from reaching an agreement

ME News report: On April 14 (UTC+8), Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that the United States keeps changing its demands during negotiations with Iran in Islamabad, which is the reason the two sides failed to reach an agreement. The Iranian foreign ministry said that on the evening of the 12th, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi, in a phone call with French Foreign Minister Barron, stated that although Iran “completely distrusts” the U.S., it nevertheless took part in the negotiations in a responsible and good-faith manner and made progress on multiple issues. However, due to the U.S.’s excessive demands and its continuous changes to its positions, an agreement was ultimately not reached. (Source: PANews)
