Websea Exchange Withdrawal Restrictions, Officially Called a Temporary Adjustment
ME News update: On April 26 (UTC+8), many community users recently reported that the Websea exchange has imposed restrictions on withdrawals. The exchange previously drew attention at the Hong Kong Web3 Conference for inviting Rola Takizawa to attend. After the conference, some users reported that they were unable to withdraw funds and said that similar issues had occurred two years ago. In response, Websea’s official statement said that the withdrawal function has been temporarily adjusted because the platform is currently advancing a funds audit. Withdrawal requests that have not been broadcast on-chain will be returned to users’ accounts via an asset backfill method, and the platform expects to disclose further progress before April 30.
