Gunfire at U.S. White House Correspondents' Dinner, Shooter Dead
Suspected shooter purchased large amounts of Trump and WLFI and suffered significant losses
On April 25th, U.S. local time, a shooting occurred in the hall of the White House Correspondents' Dinner, and the shooter is now deceased.
That day, reports indicated that after gunfire was heard at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C., U.S. President Donald Trump urgently evacuated from the White House Correspondents' Dinner scene.
It is reported that several government officials attended the dinner, including Vice President Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
When the gunfire erupted, Trump was seated at the podium.
The White House Correspondents' Association was established in 1914 and is an independent organization composed of reporters covering the White House and the U.S. President.
The association has held an annual dinner since 1921, serving as a social event to strengthen communication between the media and government officials, with the President attending and giving speeches becoming a tradition.
