Kevin Mitnick was one of the most famous hackers ever, he only wanted to challenge breaking into systems and nothing else
Started at 12, figured out how to get free bus rides using punch cards, moved into phone hacking and impersonating workers to access systems
By his teens he was breaking into company networks and copying software, but got caught and went to prison in the late 80s
