Ethereum Foundation Sells 10,000 ETH to Bitmine in OTC Deal
Ethereum Foundation sold 10,000 ETH to Bitmine in an over-the-counter deal at an average price of $2,387, or nearly $24 million. The foundation said the sale will fund core operations, protocol research and development, ecosystem development, and community grants. Bitmine said earlier this week that it held 4,976,485 ETH, equal to 4.12% of ether’s supply.
