Just saw Foundation, the Ethereum NFT marketplace, is shutting down permanently. Founder Kayvon Tehranian said they tried to find a buyer to keep it running but the deal fell through. Then BlackDove took over earlier this year but decided to build their own platform instead, so yeah, that didn't work out.

The platform facilitated around $230 million in sales before this. Wild how NFT founders are leaving the space or shutting down their projects a year or so after the hype died. Makes you wonder how many other platforms are quietly struggling right now. This whole centralized NFT infrastructure thing is starting to feel pretty fragile, no cap.
