Lately, whenever the mainnet gas fees spike, I just get too lazy to move. It’s not about saving that little bit of money; it’s the frustration of confirming a transaction and waiting half a day that makes me lose patience… So now basically: I leave daily interactions on L2, and the mainnet only handles “necessary and infrequent” tasks, like changing key permissions, moving large amounts, or voting that must go through the mainnet. Basically, I treat the mainnet as a safe deposit box, and L2 as my wallet.

Additionally, recently everyone’s been fixated on staking unlocks and token unlock calendars, often stressing over sell pressure and anxiety. I’m actually more concerned about whether protocols will suddenly change incentives or engage in short-term pump-and-dump subsidies after unlocks; once subsidies stop, the traffic for those “smooth experience” applications on L2 could instantly evaporate. Anyway, I prefer to avoid chasing hype, focus more on proposal details and exit strategies—only use features that can be withdrawn with one click.
