Zondacrypto CEO heads to Israel, platform falls into crisis
ME News message. On April 25 (UTC+8), it was reported that Przemysław Kral, CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto, has traveled to Israel. Approximately 99% of Zondacrypto’s Bitcoin reserves are suspected to have disappeared. The company said that the private keys for about 4,500 BTC are held by the missing founder Sylwester Suszek. The platform has now stopped withdrawals, management has been disbanded, and criminal and economic investigations have been launched in Poland. The actual losses may be far higher than the official estimate of about $100 million (about 350 million Polish zloty). (Source: MLion)
