Zondacrypto CEO travels to Israel, platform falls into crisis
ME News Message: On April 25 (UTC+8), it was reported that Przemysław Kral, the CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto, has gone to Israel. About 99% of Zondacrypto’s Bitcoin reserves are suspected to have disappeared. The company said that the private keys for roughly 4,500 BTC are in the hands of the missing founder, Sylwester Suszek. At present, the platform has stopped withdrawals, the management team has disbanded, and Poland has launched criminal and economic investigations. The actual losses may be far higher than the official estimate of about $100 million (about 350 million Polish zloty). (Source: MLion)
