Balancer hacker exchanges 14.3k ETH for 419 BTC
BlockBeats news: April 25. According to monitoring by EmberCN, the Balancer hacker has, since yesterday, converted ETH into BTC via THORChain, and has already exchanged 14,300 ETH for 419.3 BTC (, which is approximately $32.51 million ).
Currently, the hacker address still has 7,700 ETH remaining on the ETH chain, and 419.3 BTC remaining on the BTC chain, for a total value of $50.4 million.
The hacker’s total assets stolen in last November were valued at $98 million, at a time when the ETH price was around $3,600.
