Aave leads the establishment of "DeFi United" to cover rsETH bad debt, with over $160 million in aid commitments already raised.
Wu said that, according to analyst Yu Jin’s disclosure, to compensate for the 75,081 ETH bad debt caused by the rsETH incident, Aave led the establishment of the “DeFi United” aid program and contributed 25k ETH itself. According to official website data, the program has currently received approximately 69,553 ETH (about $161 million) in pledged aid, with main contributors including Mantle, Aave DAO, Ether Fi, and others, leaving only about 5,500 ETH remaining to fill the gap.
