I just saw that the Zeekr 8X with Super Eva officially began mass production on April 17th. Honestly, this seems to me a pretty significant turning point for the entire Chinese automotive industry.

What’s interesting is that over the past year, we’ve heard many announcements about AI integration in vehicles, but most remain at laboratory demonstration stages. The real leap from that to mass deployment functioning in real-world scenarios is where many have stumbled. Well, Super Eva has just crossed that line.

The system integrates the intelligent agent with capabilities for smart cabin, assisted driving, and digital ecosystem, all natively fused with the vehicle’s core systems. What caught my attention is that it reaches an inference speed of up to 350 TPS, meaning it can process complex instructions in real time. Just imagine saying “Take me to pick up the kids after school, and by the way, find a McDonald's before 5,” and everything executes automatically: route planning, waypoints, assisted driving.

This mass production of Eva is significant because it validates that models like Jiepao’s Step 3.5 Flash already have the stable capacity to deploy in high-latency industrial terminals. It’s not just a technical achievement; it’s a replicable pathway to penetrate other hardware scenarios.

What comes next is even more ambitious. Super Eva will not just be a companion inside the vehicle but an intelligent hub connected to the outside world. Reserve restaurants, order food, buy tickets—all through natural conversation while driving. Many consider 2026 the key year for large general models to “enter devices,” and this seems to confirm it. The industry is watching very closely how this develops.
