On April 24, Cointelegraph reported that the Mantle core contributor team proposed to lend 30,000 ETH from the Mantle treasury to Aave DAO to cover bad debt resulting from the April 18 theft of $292 million worth of rsETH in a cross-chain bridge exploit.
