CoinWorld News reports that Wu said that AAVE DAO has issued an ARFC governance proposal to participate in the DeFi United collaborative recovery plan, providing funds for the asset support gap caused by the Kelp Rseth cross-chain bridge incident on April 18, 2026.

The initial gap was approximately 163,183 ETH.
After multiple parties froze and liquidated assets, recoverable assets reduced the remaining gap to about 75,081 ETH.
So far, approximately 14,570 ETH has been donated, and Mantle has offered a maximum credit limit of 30,000 ETH.
The proposal requests a transfer of 25,000 ETH from the DAO treasury to help fill the gap, and this contribution is a fixed commitment.
Any subsequent donations will be prioritized for repaying the Mantle loan.
