These days, I’ve seen people post “on-chain data proves xxx” again, and I can’t help but laugh… The “on-chain” you see is probably a delayed reality pieced together from the perspective of RPC nodes + indexers’ caches + the sampling time of your wallet/dashboard. Last week, I encountered this for the third time: the transaction clearly went through earlier, but the page still shows pending; switch to a different RPC and suddenly it’s “confirmed,” like time travel. New L1/L2 incentives boost TVL, old users complain “mining, selling,” but sometimes the TVL change you’re criticizing is just an index lag… Anyway, I now only treat on-chain data as a reference, not as an oracle, and I’ll leave before the wedding.
