Washington prosecutor announces halt to Powell investigation, further fueling expectations of Fed rate cuts this year

ME News Report, April 24 (UTC+8), Washington D.C. Prosecutor Piro announced the suspension of the investigation into Federal Reserve Chair Powell regarding the Federal Reserve building costs. He pointed out that although the investigation is paused, the Fed’s expenses will be reviewed by the Federal Reserve Inspector General.
