Arthur Hayes said Ethereum could fall out of the top three cryptocurrencies by 2030, despite CoinGecko data showing ETH has about a $277.96 billion market value today. Hayes said an AI-powered asset tied to the agentic economy could take Ethereum’s place, although he also pointed to Ethereum’s post-quantum work, developer use, ETF inflows, and development activity as support factors.
