Sources: US-Iran negotiations are "very likely" to achieve a breakthrough

ME News report, April 24 (UTC+8): government sources confirmed that the talks between the US and Iran in Islamabad are “very likely to achieve a breakthrough.” A delegation led by Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi is expected to arrive in Pakistan’s capital tonight. Earlier today, the Iranian Foreign Minister had a phone call with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and both sides confirmed the news. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said that the two sides exchanged views on the development of the regional situation, a ceasefire, and the ongoing diplomatic efforts amid contacts between the US and Iran.
