US media: The US strikes over 50 military targets on Hark Island
ME News Report, April 7 (UTC+8), according to two U.S. officials, before the deadline set by Trump for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. launched strikes earlier on Tuesday (local time) against military targets on Halek Island. One official stated that the U.S. targeted over 50 sites on the island. Officials said the strikes took place early Tuesday morning Eastern Time, and the targets did not include oil infrastructure. Trump has set Tuesday night Eastern Time as the deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, or else it risks facing devastating attacks on its energy infrastructure. (Source: PANews)
