⚠ After 5 months of silence, the attacker of Balancer has resumed activity: transferring ETH
On-chain monitoring shows that the Balancer attacker, who had been silent for about 5 months, has recently resumed transferring funds. They have moved 100 ETH (approximately $233k) to a new address and are conducting batch mixing transfers through Tornado Cash.
Currently, this address still holds about 21,900 ETH, worth approximately $51.13 million, and the potential on-chain risk exposure remains significant. Ongoing monitoring of fund movements is necessary.
From on-chain behavior, such funds are usually gradually processed through small probe transactions and batch transfers to reduce traceability and disperse market attention.
In the blockchain world, funds may be hidden, but transaction records will never disappear.
Markets fluctuate daily, but what truly matters is never the noise, but those large funds moving quietly. 🚀
