The Republican leadership has demanded Lutnick to stop the crypto PAC's political contributions in Texas.
ME News Report, April 24 (UTC+8), senior Republicans recently called U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick to request intervention regarding the involvement plans of the crypto political action committee Fellowship PAC supported by his former company Cantor Fitzgerald in Texas. The PAC previously disclosed in FEC filings that it planned to invest $1.75 million to support Ken Paxton, sparking concerns within the party about its involvement in sensitive primaries. Sources said the PAC ultimately did not run the related ads, and the Republican side later stated that the concerns had been alleviated. Fellowship PAC is linked to Tether, which previously announced plans to raise $100 million for the 2026 election, and has currently raised about $11 million. (Source: ODAILY)
