Bitmine Adds Load, Buys 100,000 ETH Worth $233 Million
Cryptocurrency investment firm led by Tom Lee, Bitmine, is suspected of adding to its Ethereum holdings again in large amounts.
On-chain data shows that three new wallets, likely linked to Bitmine, received around 100,000 ETH valued at approximately $233.7 million.
The funds are known to originate from BitGo, one of the digital asset custody service providers.
This movement indicates a potential continued accumulation by Bitmine, which has previously been active in buying and staking ETH.
The use of several new wallets could also be a strategy to manage asset distribution or enhance storage security.
With such a large amount, this transaction could impact Ethereum market liquidity.
This move reinforces the signal that institutions still see long-term opportunities in ETH.
