ME News report. On April 13 (UTC+8), Sun Dong, Director of the Hong Kong Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau, and Wang Jingtao, Deputy Director of the National Cyberspace Administration, jointly signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The agreement covers key areas including promoting artificial intelligence, cross-border data, and blockchain. The goal is to deeply implement the national “15th Five-Year Plan,” support Hong Kong’s development into an international innovation and technology hub, promote a new real economy led by technological innovation, and help Hong Kong better integrate into and serve the country’s overall development strategy. The two sides will further strengthen cooperation, jointly promote the development of new productive forces, deepen cybersecurity collaboration, and enhance international exchanges and promotion.
