You're truly a master like Fulong Fengchu! Turns out making money is so simple!
A user profits $34k by using a hairdryer to interfere with meteorological sensors to manipulate Polymarket's temperature prediction market.
Polymarket previously settled using sensor data from Météo France near Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
A man used a hairdryer to interfere with temperature sensors to manipulate the "Paris temperature" market on Polymarket and made $34k.
The trader bought an extremely unlikely outcome at a very low price (for example, everyone predicted 18°C, but he bought "22°C") because no one believed it could really reach that.
Then he went next to the sensor and briefly heated the surrounding air with a portable heat source, causing the reading to spike temporarily to the day's highest temperature.
A few minutes later, the temperature returned to normal, but the market settled in his favor, and he successfully cashed out, doing this twice on April 6 and April 15 until the French meteorological agency discovered and filed a lawsuit. $ETH
